Born and raised in Bulgaria, Elvan graduated from the prestigious Dental Faculty of Ankara, Turkey in 2006. She continued to gain further qualifications attending a Specialist Training Programme and PhD Programme at the Ankara Dental Hospital/Graduated School of Health Sciences/Ankara University for 6 years, where she has gained extensive experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Unit and General Dentistry.
In 2012 she moved to London where she continued gaining knowledge and skills in the field of general dentistry. She also has a background in education participating in a series of scientific presentations and courses in many national and international conferences.
Elvan believes that oral health is connected to the whole body and her approach to dentistry is holistic. She is a minimum invasion specialist, always trying to save as much of natural tooth surface as possible, but if needed can extract any unwanted “baddy” in a blink of an eye, in no time even to anxious patience.
Her special interests lie in Implantology, Oral Surgery, Emergency Service and Restorative Dentistry. She has been practising general dentistry in addition to oral surgery in many private clinics since 2006. She has carried out well over 1000 intraosseous dental implants with and without bone augmentation including bilateral sinus liftings under sedation and general anaesthesia.
Elvan’s other interests are cycling, swimming, hiking, travelling, natural building, permaculture, music, dancing, yoga, meditation, art, writing stories and poems, singing, natural remedies, herbalism, energy healing and teachings related to a deep understanding and feeling that we are all one.
